PM tells young people to dream big, advance into new era

-Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Sunday evening attended a ceremony awarding ten outstanding young Vietnamese and eight promising young Vietnamese on the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, March 26.

At the ceremony in Hanoi, Prime Minister Chinh said that as the future owners of the country, Vietnamese youth need to carry out "three pioneerisms" and "six focuses", to prepare themselves to enter the new era together with the whole country.

That is pioneering in innovative thinking and strategic vision, looking far and wide, thinking deeply, doing big things; valuing time, intelligence and decisiveness; and being on time with unlimited creativity and dedication. Next is pioneering in developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation; and making breakthroughs, increasing labor productivity, and creating Vietnamese "unicorn startups". Third, being a pioneer in nationalizing human civilization in Vietnam and internationalizing the advanced culture, imbued with the identity of the Vietnamese people.

The "six focuses" are promoting growth and supporting young people to start a business and establish a career, implementing social justice and progress, ensuring social security, improving people's lives, boosting international integration, and being ready to contribute and sacrifice for the country, firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.

As planned, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Monday will hold dialogue with young people, celebrating the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
